Dangerous Goods Warehouse Clean-up Project

19.3 million litres of dangerous goods removed from Melbourne’s Northern suburbs.

Prior to forming MicroRisk Group, Michael and Sarina led the High Risk Dangerous Goods Taskforce which included WorkSafe, the EPA, emergency services, Melbourne Water and local government.

The discovery of thirteen sites in Melbourne’s northern suburbs stockpiling dangerous goods required a rapid response and significant clean-up operations including the removal of a total of 19.3 million litres of dangerous goods. About 69% of the dangerous goods were classified as flammable waste (Class 3 dangerous goods).
